Taking table orders
Create table orders, add items, and send Kitchen Order Tickets (KOT).
Waiters use this screen to build a guest's table order and send it to the kitchen.
Adding items to an order
- Tap an available or occupied table on the floor view
- Filter the catalogue by category to find menu items
- Tap an item to add it to the table order
- Enter the quantity
- Repeat for all items
Sending KOT to the kitchen
- Review the order line items and quantities
- Tap Send KOT
- If a kitchen printer is connected, a kitchen ticket prints automatically
- The order appears on the Kitchen Display System for kitchen staff
