Adding and managing products
Create and manage your product catalogue in AdoxERP.
Products are the items you buy, sell, and stock. Every transaction references your product catalogue.
What you need first
Before creating products, make sure these exist:
| Record | Where to find it | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Units | Products → Units | Yes — every product needs a unit |
| Taxes | Taxes | Optional — for VAT on invoices |
| Brands / Categories | Products → Brands / Categories | Optional — for organization |

Adding a product
- Go to Products in the sidebar
- Click + Add
- Enter Name, SKU, and Barcode (optional)
- Select Unit (required)
- Select Tax (optional)
- Set Category and Brand (optional)
- Configure Cost price and Selling price
- Save
Editing a product
Click any product to open its detail page. You can update:
- Name, SKU, barcode
- Category and tags
- Pricing and tax configuration
- Images and descriptions
- Stock settings (reorder level, preferred supplier)
Bulk import
For large catalogues, use Products > Import to upload a spreadsheet with all product details at once.
