Categories, variants, and units
Organize products with categories, manage variants, and configure units of measure.
Product categories
Categories help organize your catalogue and enable category-level reporting.
- Go to Products > Categories
- Click + New Category
- Enter the category name and optional parent category (for hierarchies)
- Save
Assign products to categories during creation or via bulk edit.
Product variants
Variants represent different versions of the same product (e.g. size, color).
- Open a product
- Go to the Variants tab
- Define variant attributes (e.g. Size: S, M, L)
- Generate variant combinations
- Set individual SKUs and pricing per variant if needed
Units of measure
Configure units under Settings > Units of Measure. Common units include piece, kg, litre, box, carton, etc. You can define conversion factors between related units (e.g. 1 carton = 12 pieces).
