Channel connections
Connect your website form so enquiries arrive as leads in AdoxERP CRM.
Channel Connections let you receive leads from outside AdoxERP — for example a contact form on your company website — straight into CRM.
How it works
Website form → your website → AdoxERP CRM (new lead)
- You create a Website form connection in CRM
- AdoxERP gives you a capture key (shown once)
- Your website team uses that key so form submissions create leads
- New enquiries appear in CRM > Leads, with the channel recorded
Channel options
When you create a connection, choose a Channel:
| Channel | Status |
|---|---|
| Website form | Available |
| Meta | Coming soon |
| X | Coming soon |
| Coming soon |
Creating a connection
- Go to CRM > Channel Connections
- Click New connection
- Select Channel — currently Website form
- Enter a Connection name you will recognise later (for example “Main site contact form”)
- Optionally choose a Default pipeline so new leads land in the right sales process
- Click Create connection
A capture key is shown once. Copy it and store it safely. Give it only to the person who manages your website.
Do not paste the capture key into public website pages or share it in chat. If it is lost or exposed, use Rotate to issue a new key.
After the connection is created
Each connection card shows:
- Channel type (for example website)
- Connection name
- Status — Active or Disconnected
- Capture key (hidden except the last characters)
- Default pipeline, if you set one
You can:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Edit | Change the name or default pipeline (channel and key cannot be changed here) |
| Rotate | Create a new capture key — the old key stops working |
| Disconnect | Pause incoming leads without deleting the connection |
| Delete | Remove the connection |
Connecting your website
Ask your website team to send contact-form submissions into AdoxERP using the capture key.
On the Channel Connections page, open Integration Guide for the details they need (where to send the form, and which contact fields to include — name, email, phone, message).
Once connected, a visitor who submits the form appears as a lead in CRM > Leads. You can then follow up, add notes, and convert the lead.
Channel vs source on a lead
These are different:
| Purpose | |
|---|---|
| Channel | Where the enquiry arrived from (website form connection, and later Meta, X, LinkedIn) |
| Source | A label you define (for example Campaign, Referral, Walk-in) — set up under CRM > Sources |
When you add a lead by hand, you can still choose Source and Channel on the lead form.
