Customer management
Add, edit, and manage customers in AdoxERP.
Customers are the buyers you sell to. Every sales transaction references a customer record.
What you need first
| Record | Where used |

| Selling Price Group | Optional — sets default prices on sales |
| Payment Terms | Optional — credit days on invoices |
No branch or location is required on the customer form itself. Branch and location are selected on each sales transaction.
Adding a customer
- Go to Customers in the sidebar
- Click + Add
- Enter Name (individual or business)
- Fill in Phone, WhatsApp, Email, and Address
- Select Selling Price Group (optional — controls default prices)
- Set Credit Limit and Payment Terms (optional)
- Enter VAT Number for B2B ZATCA invoicing (optional)
- Save
Customer details
Each customer record includes:

| Address | Billing and shipping addresses |
| Financial | Credit limit, payment terms, price list, tax ID (VAT number) |

Viewing customer history
Open a customer to see:
- Transactions — all quotations, orders, invoices, and returns
- Outstanding balance — receivable amount
- Payment history — all payments received
- Notes and activities — internal notes and follow-ups
Bulk import
Import customers in bulk via Customers > Import with a spreadsheet.
What to do next
- Quotations
- WhatsApp setup — documents use the customer WhatsApp number
- Sales orders
- Approval flow — if new customers must be signed off first
